Mental Health Therapy in Berkeley
I'm a professional clinical counselor trained in mindfulness-based and somatic approaches to therapy. I offer individual therapy services in person in Berkeley and online in California. Therapy can help you resolve mental, emotional and relational struggles. In therapy, we'll work together to understand what's going on for you, to experience your emotions safely and fully, and to help you make new choices for yourself.
What to Expect
Our first step to set up therapy is to have an initial consultation. The consultation is a free 30 minute conversation in which I can learn about what you're hoping to get from therapy. You can begin to get a feel for what it is like to work for me, and ask me any questions you may have.
If we both believe working together is a good fit, we'll schedule an initial appointment. I'll have you complete some paperwork before and during the first meeting and we'll begin our work together.
To get the most out of therapy, you need to be actively involved. Therapy works best when you attend sessions every week and practice what you learn in between sessions.
